Justin Proudman is a respected guitar player and teacher in the North West of England.  He has taught guitar privately and in schools for the past 10 years and is an electric and acoustic guitar examiner for the London College of Music (Registry of Guitar Tutors).  He has taught pupils at all grade levels and ages and tailors the lessons to suit the individual student’s goals and abilities.  Justin has received much praise from professionals in the music education community regarding his ability to communicate ideas clearly and in an inspiring manner, as well as quickly establishing an excellent rapport with students.

 

    Justin has also played in numerous bands since relocating to the UK in 1998.  Projects have included everything from musical theatre and pop to hard rock.  He has played in a variety of venues from social clubs and pubs to hotels and civic auditoriums.  Despite his busy teaching schedule, Justin manages to play a fair number of live gigs every year.

 

     Justin was trained at Canada’s prestigious Humber College, the finest Jazz and popular music program in the country.  Here, he studied with numerous world-class teachers.  Outside of the college, Justin has studied with many other very fine teachers and continues to practice and develop new skills.
